Customer Journey
Once you have expressed an interest in a free quote our project manager will arrange a day and time suitable for you for us to visit your property and discuss the project in further details.
Welcome introduction and meet up at an agreed time to take precise measurements, ask relevant questions and discuss the project we will also showcase our resin samples. Previous work portfolio can be seen to give some ideas and inspiration. Once we agree on the design of your new driveway we will provide you with a full detailed quote.
Once all parties are happy with the design and you would like to proceed with the work discussed we will put everything down on paper with clear instructions and all relevant details needed to carry out the proposed job.
We will then mark out your driveway. So you can clearly see the shape of your resin bound surface. We will then take a virtual video detailing the project which we will then pass through to our experienced installation team who will carry out the work needed to install your premium resin surface, this way there are no mistakes and your project is carried out exactly as planned. Once all the materials have been ordered ahead of the installation and our checklist is marked as complete your installation will proceed with a smooth process.

We will never reuse existing bases – tired tarmac or cracked concrete surfaces that are not fit for purpose or suds compliant. Our installation always consists of a new permeable structural base consisting of M.O.T hardcore open textured tarmac and UV stabilised resin with a minimum depth of 18mm to 24mm.
At Matrix Resin Surfacing all our teams consist of specialist key workers in our industry. Each member has been fully checked and approved by our director meaning risks are fully owned by us.
Once the work is complete your surface will require between 4-8 hours to set before attempting to walk on this includes your pets to keep it paw free. We advise a minimum of 4 days before driving a vehicle on the surface to give it maximum time to cure and deliver the best result. Once we complete the project our director will arrange a site visit to sign the job off for our quality control to ensure your resin-bound surface has been carried out to the highest standard.
What Is Resin Surfacing ?
Our Premium Resin Bound product is a mixture of aggregate granite, quartz, etc. combined with a UV Resin fully suds compliant to produce a permeable surface. It is a flexible surfacing material so it is resistant to cracking.
The system is mixed on-site cold using our high-quality binder to coat the aggregate particles prior to laying. Our resin and chosen aggregates are then mixed thoroughly prior to laying to ensure the surface is fully bound.
As a result, a fully Resin Bound Surface is more durable and requires a lot less maintenance we recommend a light power wash once a year with soapy water that will keep your chosen surface looking pristine for years to come. Our resin bound surfaces are finished with a non-slip additive to help alleviate those unexpected trips or falls for extra peace of mind for you and your family, Our Resin is fully UV stabilised so a south-facing garden or shaded area is fine we guarantee a uniformed colour for years to come to no nasty surprises a few years down the line a quality resin bound surface designed and installed to stand the test of time. All our aggregates have been fully cleaned and treated for quality control so again no cheap materials making their way into any of our mixes.
